PhD thesis successfully defended

Simon, our buddy finally made it.  He managed his phD-Defense successfully. Congratulations, Simon!

After his Master-Study of “Environmental and Energy Management” at University Twente, he decided to start a phD-study in aquaponics. At the beginning of 2014, when  aquaponik manufaktur GmbH had just been foundet. He started his PhD-studys in aquaponics first at University of Iceland, two years later, he moved back to NL and continued at University of Wageningen (WUR) zu wechseln, one of the leading Universitys in agriculture sciences.

 

 

Drivers of Research

In this time many publications were being made. We are honoured that we could help realizing these publications. The following articles were published during the phD, except the last one, which is pretty fresh and has been published after the phD defense.

The phD-Thesis
In his phD-thesis “Opportunities and Challenges of Multi-Loop Aquaponic Systems” he focused these topics to discuss them entirely. We like this professional approach to these topics, but we also like the preface.

And now? Practical planning in Namibia und Kenya

During the research work Simon made contacts in Kenya and Namiba. There he plans large scale aquaponics systems. The following video introduces the project.
